Celebrating 20 years in business, Adams, Kvittem-Barr & Assoc. CPAs, LLP was established in 1990 to provide efficient, expert solutions to businesses and individuals. Their primary services include accounting, taxation, financial planning and business consulting. They also offer a host of specialty services to cater to the unique needs of their clients. The partners and team members serve a wide range of individuals, corporations, partnerships, and non-profit organizations and are experts in the accounting issues and tax laws that impact their clients.
Members of the Chamber since 1993, Deborah Adams has over 25 years of experience in the financial and accounting profession and her partner Barb Kvittem-Barr has over 20 years' experience and is a designated Certified Financial Planner (CFP). The firm is large enough to offer a full array of services but small enough to know their clients on a personal level. They have 10 team members. The team is very important to them. One of the most important assignments is Director of Fun. This position is tasked with making sure they remember to laugh year round and watching especially close during tax season to make sure everyone is ok.
They are a high tech firm, while not 100% paperless; the majority of their work is in a paperless environment and continues to move toward that 100% goal. They try to do their part as a good steward of our environment. Other areas include allowing some team members a flexible work set up - working a 4 day week or working one or more days from their home.
The firm has been active in the community through involvement with various organizations such as (Habitat for Humanity, Carefree Kiwanis, Desert Foothills Theatre, Foothills Community Foundation and Cactus Shadows High School in addition to the Chamber). While the firm does tax work for businesses, it also likes to help in other areas such as industry comparison, cash flow management and financial analysis, strategic business planning, bank financing, small business and QuickBooks consulting, etc.
They also provide assistance to individuals, trusts and estates in numerous areas.
